My heart full of woe

Will she turn away

How my face disturbs them so

Will she ever look back?

*

My spine twisted and wrecked

As my sight sees naught but black

Marie sings for them

Break of dawn

Hear her ring

Will my light come back again?
Inspired by Victor Hugo's Notre Dame de Paris. A poem for the Bell ringer, Quasimodo.

Reason for something so low is because I woke up feeling weak. Reminded me of the book I'm reading.

Quasimodo belongs to Victor Hugo
